About the Owners.
Opened for business in 1999 by owners Karen & Robert Sewell.

Karen is a talented and experienced chef having worked as Head Chef in local Wanganui restuarants, Christuchurch at Azure, Sign of the Takahe and overseas in London prior to opening Oggies Cafe. Robert’s experience as a project manager lends to the smooth operation of the cafe.

Indoor Outdoor.
In the chill of Winter our cosy fireplace is the ideal spot for a hot coffee. And during the hot Summer months our covered outdoor area offers a cool garden space with the with a goldfiish pond. Great for the kids to entertain themselves!

We are located at 53 Wilson Street, Wanganui. Only 3 minutes walk from the heart of Wanganui and 1 minute from Cooks Garden Stadium and the world class cycling velodrome.
